SATI ENTERPRISES was started in the year 1978 in Mangalore with a single tank truck for transporting petroleum products and chemicals from Mangalore. Mr. Punith Jalan and Mr. Sunil Jalan started a partnership Concern with the name and style of M/S SATI ENTERPRISES. This firm has a branch at Bangalore since 1982 and the Head office is at Mangalore. Mr. Sunil Jalan is heading the operations at Mangalore and Mr. Punith Jalan is looking after the operations of the firm at Bangalore.

From its humble beginning of owning one tank truck, the firm has expanded and has 30 tank trucks transporting products all over south India and to a few places in the north from Mangalore and Bangalore. The firm contracts tank trucks to Oil Marketing Companies like Indian Oil, Hindustan Petroleum, Mangalore Refineries & Petroleum Limited (MRPL), Reliance Petroleum, Shell, among a few carrying various products like MS (petrol), HSD (Diesel), ATF (Aviation Fuel) Furnace oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) in pre designated tank trucks. Some of the tank trucks owned by the firm are used to transport liquid chemical products from Mangalore and Bangalore to various places in Stainless Steel tank trucks. The Firm also owns Food Grade Stainless Steel Tanks for transporting Vinegar, Coconut Oil, and Edible Oil.

The firm is the first tank truck transportation company to be associated with BASF since the beginning of the factory at Mangalore in 1997 for transporting Bulk Liquid Chemicals in Stainless Steel Tanks exceeding customer satisfaction.

The firm also has a sister concern M/s Vishnu Enterprises which has 2 dealership petrol pumps. The partners of SATI ENTERPRISES (Mr. Sunil & Mr.Punith) of the firm who are the Chief Executives are assisted in the running of the business by their Managers, office staff with a trained fleet of drivers and cleaners.
